With the advancement of technology, since then various series of goggles have come, starting form Gen 0 to Gen IV. NVG navigation lights can be divided into further 3 categories such as: - Scopes, Camera and Goggles. Goggles are basically come with the dual eye pieces and worn around the head. Presently, in the market current models have both in-built modes- Image and thermal. Image enhancement gathered the surrounding light even from the lower part of the infrared light which is not visible to human eyes. Thermal Imaging works on the mechanism that every object radiates heat of different temperature.
